In studio, we were tasked with designing an elementary school that focused on creating a functional, engaging, and inspiring environment for young learners. The project required us to apply strong space planning strategies to ensure efficient circulation, clear zoning, and a thoughtful balance between learning, play, and collaboration areas. Throughout the process, we developed a full design package that included rendered perspectives to visualize the overall atmosphere and material palette, reflected ceiling plans to communicate lighting and ceiling design intent, and detailed elevations to show spatial relationships and design details. This project allowed us to explore how design can support education, creativity, and community while refining our technical drawing and visualization skills.
